Remember when music like this seemed like the future? It was the Nineties I think. With the distance of a few years, that kind of hip-hop that blasts out at you with electro tendrils now seems warmer - soulful somehow. So it is that Pretty Lights dices "Sunday School" into existence, a meaty club cut of disco horns, Dilla-hop, macho soundbites and that aforementioned electro. I'd be tempted to call it 'IDM', if I was keener to present myself as a prick. A prick from the Nineties.
