Like another Parisian DJ, Plaisir de France is copping the soul of his newest work from old classics, tweaking them to befit his floor-killing needs but not hacking them into sacrilegious versions of their former selves. In a sea of dispiriting, flaccid edits, the tastefulness is appreciated. "Le Responsable Reviste," which fierily invokes a certain sixties French superstar, arrives through Pro-Zak Trax in January.
