DOWNLOAD: Ben Rymer - La Trinciarice (Main Mix)
Like seemingly so many other grizzled DJ booth vets, Ben Rymer's never put out a record under his own name. Or rather, hadn't. Serge Santiago's Arcobalenco just released the vinyl for "La Trinciarice" (digital's out in January), finally jettisoning the former Fat Truckers and Gucci Soundsystem man (and current Disco Bloodbath lynchpin) into the realm of proper solo artistry. Evidently, "La Trinciarice" translates to "The Shredder," which in no way lines up with the softened Italo rays he's let into this one. Does sound like he's graduated from "looking like a poor man's Arthur Baker," though.
