The deluxe edition of School of Seven Bells' Alpinisms (out digitally next Tuesday through Ghostly and Vagrant) is loaded — it includes nine additional tracks: one live plus a bunch of remixes and alternate versions, like this crisp new take on "Half Asleep," which draws out the beat and casts a wider gaze around the universe. Other happenings from SVIIB include a handful of dates remaining on their tour, which you can see here, and the announcement that their next album will be called Disconnect from Desire. Which doesn't sound like the thing to do, but I'm willing to let them try and convince me.
