New York's The Double have never gotten their due–the band's debut LP for Matador is still insanely slept on, and now more than a few "newer" bands have carried that perturbed, cacophonous pop sound on to larger success. But they're keeping on, and just put out an excellent, self-titled LP in September through Thimbleful Records. Four of its songs are below, do yourself a favor and indulge their awesomeness for a quarter hour. Gems await.
