DOWNLOAD: Yes Giantess - Tuff 'n Stuff

When I spoke to Jan Rosenfeld recently he told me the first band he ever saw was Smash Mouth. The Yes Giantess frontman and Boston resident crashed one of those big radio events when he was eight years old; climbed up, over a wall and just rocked out, like he was stood next to Eddie Murphy in a Disney film or something. Hearing this track, this story of Jan's formative musical experience makes perfect sense, "Tuff 'n Stuff" sounding like something a Smash Mouth fan might write to try to sweet talk some doe-eyed college lass into intimacy, sugary sweet and full of young vim. This track's one that's been gathered up by Parisian label Sister Phunk for their new Sisters comp - expect another next week.
