DOWNLOAD: Chromeo - I Can't Tell You Why (Eagles Cover)

!K7 released their first DJ-Kicks in two years yesterday, this one guided by the hands of lite-funk maestros Chromeo, who put everything from Shazam and Lifelike to The Alan Parsons Project and Kano on there. Buried in the second half of the mix is this Eagles cover, exclusive to the release and the only Chromeo song to make the cut. Honestly, there are few bands we deplore more than the Eagles (sorry...but we still have love for Joe Walsh), and while this cover is pretty faithful in terms of arrangement, we can totally vibe with it because it sounds like it's from the future rather than 1979 and involves zero singing drummers. So there, we have now admitted to enjoying an Eagles song. Grab the MP3 before hell freezes over and pick up Chromeo's DJ-Kicks right here.
