So named because it is actually three different songs* colliding in the dust cloud of DJ /rupture and Matt Shadetek's new mix CD, Solar Life Raft (the first being their remix of Gang Gang's "Bebey," available below). Poet Elizabeth Alexander reads from her original collaboration with /rupture, now backed by loping drums and cut-up, disparate vocal pieces. We shouldn't be surprised that these two can make all these parts sound congruous, but we still are 'cause it's really impressive. Solar Life Raft is out 11/10 through The Agriculture.
