The London-based, Italian-born, Coltrane-sampling ItaloBoyz might've made their name doing snippy, funky minimal, but damn if "Oh Mio Dio" doesn't speak of the different paths taken on Bla Bla Bla, their new LP for our pals at dirtybird. Plunky, almost Jaws-like bass clef piano guides most of the tune, bolstered by slappy live drums and a sunken bass figure–yes, this and the rest of the album is composed mostly of live instrumentation.
