Sara Kermanshahi has a deep, rich, swooping voice; when she sings it’s as if crescents of wood are being carved out of the air. “Pariah,” which is from the self-titled digital-only album she recently made under the name Natureboy, is three and a half minutes of moody folk-pop magic; it steals up through your legs, spins you around the room and drops you right back where it found you. For now, only us New Yorkers get to see Natureboy play live (October 24 during a CMJ day-party at the Delancey and October 28 at Zebulon), but everybody gets to enjoy this modestly perfect song.
