The first song released from Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson's new LP for Saddle Creek, Summer Of Fear, "The Sound" is solipsistic, crushed flannel indie rock for the hopeful and hopeless, tides of guitar clang swelling around a steady, sobering Rhodes figure. The new LP, written in the summer of 2007 and finished with the help of producer Kyp Malone last winter, is due out October 20th. Before that can see the Nominally Endowed One out on the road with Bob Mould, and back in town during CMJ. Dates after the break.
