There is so much to love about White Denim–their name, their photogenicy, the fact that they sound like the Minutemen at church or the MC5 in jazz band. Since we put out one of their first EPs in 2007, things have come full circle a bit, with their second album, Fits, due through Downtown on October 20th. "Wet Sand" was intended to come out as part of the 2007 EP, but for whatever reason didn't make it on here until now. It's perfectly theirs–short, sweaty, propulsive, more of a rough-and-tumble pop song than an exploding prog bomb. The dudes are out smashing through Europe right now before a whip through the States around release date; dates after the break.
