Retro/Grade, the Italo-disco-focused project from Serge Santiago and Tom Neville, has been the stuff of keyboard-sweating message board minions for more than a year, and for good reason–first single "Moda" is a soaring, cheeseless take on a genre we've often found wandering into questionably samey waters. The track's been supported by Erol Alkan, A-Trak, and loads of others and just came out this week as a limited-to-500 white label (there are a few up for sale at Phonica)–we're thrilled to be giving away the radio edit for free. An album's planned for January.
