DOWNLOAD: Memory Tapes - Plain Material

Once shrouded behind a blog and multiple pseudonyms, we're now fully aware that Memory Tapes is just some dude named Dayve Hawk, a South Jersey stay-at-home Dad that doesn't own a cell phone. Disappointing? Not really, because A) the name Dayve Hawk is incredibly awesome and B) who are we to harsh on a dude who's yet to let us down musically because we once envisioned him to be a Tough Alliance side project or something. "Plain Material," from his album Seek Magic, starts nicely enough on strummed guitar before coalescing into the infantile Vitamin B disco-house we fell for in the first place. In other words, it's like the most incorrectly named song ever.
