Sam’s 2008 introspective on French Miami instantly became the gold standard on the subject, so let’s keep this simple. French Miami are from San Francisco. They’re multi-instrumentalists. They’ve been called post-punk, math-rock, and skull-crushing psychopaths. The migraines they often induce are curiously warm but the mpfrees below are rock-a-bye anodynes.
