DOWNLOAD: Monotonix - Set Me Free

That Israeli rock maniacs Monotonix are just releasing their first album is actually kind of impressive–the three have scared the pants off crowds seemingly everywhere thanks to just one excellent EP (last year's Body Language). "Set Me Free" is the first we've heard from Where Were You When It Happened?, their debut album out September 8 via Drag City and a phrase we imagine surrounds their lives like a black cloud. It's restrained in the sense that they're not sweating and screaming and throwing drums around the room, meaning we can actually focus on the music, which is really impressive.
