Recently forename-less Poirier has a new EP out through Ninja Tune called Run The Riddim, second in a series of three he's doing for the label (the first was February's Soca Sound System, the last will be October's Low Ceiling.) "Enemies," with frequent partner Face-T, sounds like each of its kick drums is actually four separate ones fused together–little sandwiches of brain-gouging bass. Also, here is some footage of Poirier and his cronies getting wild with about five thousand Montrealers in the middle of the street. That place evidently goes very hard.
