Like Larrikin Love and Tom Vek, Good Shoes were one of those acts that burst out of south west London a few years back only to gradually fade from view. Now, Larrikin are defunct (though you can still hear their songs on chewing gum ads) and no-one knows where Vek is, but Good Shoes have returned with a new member, a new song and a string of tour dates, "The Way My Heart Beats" as peppy, sharp and welcomingly suburban as anything they're recorded to date.
