England has Shakespeare, America has Jerry Springer. There are subtle differences between the two, but frYars has a keen eye for them and so his melodrama has an acute, grandiose thespian bent; "Of March" all talk of tragedies and going down with one's ship, singing choirs and romantic martyrdom. Shakespeare did write Titanic, didn't he? Yeah, thought so. His biggest smash. frYars will be hoping his debut album Dark Young Hearts can make a similar impact - it's out on September 14th.
