Portland barn burners Blitzen Trapper have a new EP coming out through Sub Pop; it's titled after this song, which originally appeared on their second album Furr, and features another six jams previously available on a tour-only CD-R. Rolling Stone thought Furr was the thirteenth best record of 2008, which, when you think about it, is a way cooler slot than any of the twelve preceding numbers. "13" means you are suspicious and dangerous, and to paraphrase an old Mitch Hedberg joke, "B" looks like a scrunched together "13", which means it is also suspicious and dangerous and, hey look at that, Blitzen Trapper starts with a "B". What we're saying is, this band is on another level cosmically and this song jams like Cat Stevens when he went by Cat Stevens.
