DOWNLOAD: Cymbals Eat Guitars - Tunguska
.jpg)
When Sam Duke covered Cymbals Eat Guitars a little while back, he was all--these guys are from Staten Island? I didn't get it either, until I heard that The Island, until 1964, boasted an Olmsted-like terrain and a Native American populace. "Tunguska" feels like that story's true, as if the band's world is still wild and full of possibility. Dudes are a-howling, guitars are a-strumming, and it all evokes a home no longer visible. One with a stream and an open sky.
