That brawny dude above is Anders Parker, a nomadic musician who's played in a bunch of awesome Americana bands you've never heard of with the exception of Gob Iron, his project with Son Volt's Jay Farrar, which you might have heard of. Parker has a new, conceptual double album coming out called Skyscraper/Crow, the former an electronically-minded ode to his former home of New York City, the latter a folkier reflection of his new digs in Burlington, Vermont.
