When I inadvertently ganked this track from Bevan, I was blinded by intrigue, since Yoni Wolf proclaimed the upcoming Eskimo Snow the least hip hop of anything he’s done. He's right. “This Blackest Purse” is WHY?’s foray down a solemn rabbit hole. If one song is representative, the rest will comprise a doppelganger LP, recorded at the same time as Alopecia, and born of a different mother.
