Bevies of props to our friends at The FADER, who on Friday premiered this collaboration between Bradford Cox (sometimes known as Atlas Sound) and Animal Collective's Noah Lennox (usually known as Panda Bear), causing The Usual Suspects to collectively gush. And for good reason. "Walkabout" samples The Dovers' "What Am I Going Do To Do", cribbing its fluttering organ riff and surrounding it with golden waves of beach ball drums. Lennox's pipes still sound like cherubs singing from clouds, so, uh, yea, you might wanna check this one out. Unless you hate happiness and magical music. Atlas Sound's second album, Logos, is out October 20 via Kranky.
