Because our pockets are not exactly heavy, we're a little skeptical of these subscription model thingys. It's like, dudes, we have a hard enough time paying for the New Yorker every year. But the always innovative minds at Institubes have lined one up worth considering; a year-long, monthly album project from resurgent electronic maestro and recent Phoenix tourmate Rob. Entitled Dodecalogue, the project will be a series of twelve albums based on the New Testament, which sounds questionably dogmatic but nonetheless epic and interesting. Below are three tracks from the Dodecalogue's first installment, all of them grandiose space oddities we'd like to accompany with black lights and fog machines.
