DOWNLOAD: MGMT - Destrokk

Before MGMT were gallivanting around the world as festival headliners and hanging out with Bill Murray, they were just two students from Wesleyan University with huge boners for the eminently excellent proto-electro group Suicide. That influence didn't really come through on Oracular Spectacular but it did on their first record, the Time To Pretend EP, originally released through Cantora Records in 2005. Cantora, who also championed early music from Violens and Francis and the Lights, just put out a remastered version of the record, source of the Suicide-copping "Destrokk".
