Perhaps because I had a feeling that summer wouldn't officially kick off in New York until July, I waited to get my Rubies on. I waited and I waited. It's July now, the sun's sort of out for good and the electro-pop flood gates are coming open. Rubies are Simone Rubi and Terri Loewenthal, two ladies you may know from the band Call and Response. Their new-ish LP Explode From The Center is awfully jamming as are the two cuts available for free right below. Have a great weekend.
