People hate on commercials and all, but when your internet’s down, who you gonna turn to for decent music? The radio? Come on, now. Bishop Allen is known for pimping out the “clickclickclickclick” goods to Sony but the reason they can do that, when a lot of bands can’t, is because their sound is really catchy, universal and well-crafted. If we’re going on musicality alone, their latest album Grr... could sell ice to Eskimos. It’s happy and xylophoney. Makes us want to step away from the desk, head to the monkey bars, and start a-swinging.
