It sounds strange to say it, but Wild Beasts' debut album was so impressive that it pretty much cemented their place among Britain's most interesting bands upon its release last year. If Limbo, Panto was a thriving, capricious jolly that sounded like Punch and Judy versus The Queen Is Dead, new longplayer Two Dancers is calmer, a spacious and considered ramble across the same plains of British pop music that Kate Bush seems eternally lost upon. This remix of their showstopping new single "Hooting and Howling" is a less bucolic affair, however, bringing lead singer Hayden Thorpe's whinnying falsetto to bear upon clubland, echoing through the mix like a judgement, righteous and sure.
