Much like his subjects in Miike Snow, British producer Fake Blood initially kept his identity a secret, at least until he started dj'ing out under the name and people realized it was Theo Keating, half of The Black Ghosts and also known as Touché. Keating's impressive list of recordings under the name–a grip of lionized remixes, a huge single with "Mars"–now includes a version of "Animal," a tune you are likely familiar with at this point. No bumrushing bassquakes in this one, just some choppy drums and the humming part on loop. Miike Snow is out now via Downtown.
