LIVE IN CONCERT: LITTLE BOOTS AT THE ROXY/ HOLLYWOOD, CA!

Victoria Hesketh, or LITTLE BOOTS, sings, plays keyboards, Japanese electronic instrument the Tenori-on piano and the stylophone A friend had nicknamed her Little Boots, and though its a dark reference to the film Caligula, Its not that Im a sex-crazed mad Roman despot or anything like that, Hesketh says. Im small and have small feet. Little Boots tours with a live drummer and keyboardist, and she hopes to build a giant sequencer of lights to pulse along to her music (she has a small version now). Little Boot's first single was "Stuck on Repeat," an infectious club hit produced by HOT CHIP's Joe Goddard that arrived early 2008. It was followed in August by the limited-edition 7" "Meddle," again produced by Goddard with help from Greg Kurstin of THE BIRD AND THE BEE. Her debut album, Hands, is out now!
