EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Zero 7 - Everything Up (Zizou) (Mock & Toof Remix)
The original cut of this, the first track from new Zero 7 album Yeah Ghost, emerged a little while back, but this Mock & Toof remix has well and truly messed with it in the interim, tearing away Henry Binns' vocals and - well, seemingly everything else. Thus "Everything Up (Zizou)" is transformed from a day-time radio shoe-in to something most definitely twilight, vocals stretched dolefully rapturous like Panda Bear trapped down a well, while the music's pure club: cowbells prancing over mechadroid bass and valiant, space-hero synths. Further remixes, by Joker & Ginz and Gold Panda, have or will eventually surface, while Yeah Ghost arrives on September 7th.
