EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Thieves Like Us - Drugs In My Body (Teenagers Remix) + Really Like To See You Again

Hey Paris, just letting you know that you guys are pretty much murdering it right now. Even our Moms are jamming that new Phoenix LP (seriously) and these other new wavey bands that sound perpetually half-drunk on cheap Burgundy are becoming our fastest friends. Thieves Like Us–actually made up of two Swedes and one American–piqued our interest last year with "Drugs In My Body," what I said then was "the most blasé tune about being intoxicated." It still hits our hi-fi on the regular, so when this jagged Teenagers remix landed in our inbox–all aflutter with quick edits and crunchy stabs–we were like, "Wow, way to ruin the mood, guys." Then we played it again and realized it works if you just stop looking for a regular downbeat. Also grab their new single, "Really Like To See You Again," which sounds like a less mopey New Order.
TLU are currently in the middle of a US run, they play Webster Hall in New York tonight before hitting Baltimore and the West Coast. Full itinerary at their MySpace.
Sounds like: Phoenix, Hatcham Social, Larytta
