British indie-pop group Hatcham Social have enjoyed some stellar company, sharing their drummer with a rising Klaxons, collaborating with The Horrors' Faris Badwan, and signing in the States to TBD Records, home of White Rabbits and this band called Radiohead. The Badwan-produced "So So Happy Making" was initially released as a single last year in the UK, though it's now been collected on Postcard In Colours, an EP preceding the July American release of their debut LP, You Dig The Tunnel, I'll Hide The Soil. To call it endearing would be an understatement, it's almost hard to believe those glum-looking bros up top are the ones gushing it out.

Hatcham Social hit the States on June 18 for a brief run of gigs in New York and Boston; they'll be back in September opening up for the Charlatans. Full list of tour dates at their MySpace.
