Dudes, did you hear? "Bones" is the hot new word to sneak into your band name. More on that macabre tip than "crystal". Okay, jokes aside we are really glad to be hearing more from Austin's Woven Bones, who indulge our unending love for all things that resemble the Cramps and the shrill, batty guitar sound they propagated. The trio have a fantastic seven inch, "Janie," out now through Needless Records, and will release this death rattle of a song via another seven for Sweet Rot Records later this month. All that deviant music will be infesting the South and Southwest this summer as the band tours sporadically, including a big show in Austin this Thursday with Holy Fuck and Crocodiles.
