Before he made like a million records under his own name, Ryan Adams was the enfant terrible and sometimes brilliant frontman of Whiskeytown, a Raleigh alt-country band that broke up in 1999. Adams' chronic inebriation during their live gigs is the stuff of legend, though this '98 taping from Austin City Limits shows that even when he was wobbly, the band still killed.
