EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Moby - Pale Horses (Apparat Remix) + Streams

Before a single kick drum is heard, Moby's new LP, Wait For Me, opens with two minutes of lush strings, dashing any hopes for the rave reversions of 2008's Last Night. In the liner notes, Moby calls the melancholic album "DIY," noting that all the music was recorded in his bedroom, with one or two unknown vocalists, and mixed alone with producer Ken Thomas (Buzzcocks, Wire, M83). He even drew the album cover himself. But, there were a few remix solicitations, notably to Berlin's Apparat, who stretched the string textures of "Pale Horses" even further and planted swampy, cycling breakbeats underneath. The remix is available for download exclusively here on RCRD LBL, along with three additional streams. Wait For Me is out June 30th through Mute.
