EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: 2020Soundsystem - Sliding Away (Johnny D Remix)

You're going to have to wait until September to hear the new 2020Soundsystem album, Falling, but the Leeds-based dance act are wisely anticipating summer stacks by issuing two huge remix singles, most notably one from Mannheim deep house DJ, Johnny D. Johannes Debese spent his youth running with breakbeat heads and currently, along with a few other Mannheim pals (notably Ray Opkara and Nekes), is making scratchy, almost lo-fi house music to growing attention. His murky, ten-minute vocal version of "Sliding Away" is being lauded a "terrace" hit by people that evidently dance on terraces in Ibiza quite often. We think it bangs everywhere, including our concrete and brick backyard with no ocean views, so they are at least half-right.

The Soundsystem lands in New York tomorrow for a 2020Vision label night at Studio B, followed by a round of live dates throughout the South and Mideast. That info, along with Thursday's flyer, is below.
