"You Don't Wanna Know" finds our friends in L.A. duo Meanest Man Contest dipping into the sampladelic pool of their recent XL8R podcast, building upon an alleviating guitar, snares that sound like snapping tree bark and background gramophone crackle. Oh, and there's the singing too: a little downhearted but still super tender, like they're leaving summer vacation a day early. The shoes off look is good one for them, and a navel gazing end to their RCRD LBL exclusive Partially Smart EP.
