VIDEO THRWBCK: Grizzly Bear - Knife (2007)
With Veckatimest's drop date less than a week away, Grizzly Bear mania is in full swing here in New York, though Letterman bumped the dudes from his show last night without warning for "time reasons." (Total fail, Dave. Total. Fail.) It actually provided a nice opportunity to go back and rewatch this clip, reminding ourselves that before New Yorker profiles and Radiohead tours, these guys were just making thoroughly trippy videos using quicksand and Star Trek character knockoffs. Amazing.
