Appropriately, Sneaky Sound System cribbed their name from their still-running Sydney club night called Sneaky Sundays, a laissez-faire jumpoff started by DJ Black Angus (Angus McDonald) and MC Double D (Daimon Downey). After losing their day jobs because showing up for work on Monday became, uh, problematic, the pair decided to take a crack at a life in music, collaborating with vocalist Connie Mitchell in the studio before unleashing a raft of housey, unpretentiously pop singles upon the Australian continent. Now two LP's deep and with their stateside debut slated for this fall, the trio's tunes are passing through the hands of some marquee remixers, case in point being the gushing, almost gaudy refit you'll find below from Stuart Price (aka Thin White Duke aka Jacques Lu Cont aka the guy who produced the last Killers record.)

Sounds like: Grace Jones, Scissor Sisters, La Roux
