DOWNLOAD: Pharaohs - Flash Forward (For DUBLAB)
The web radio mecca DUBLAB is currently in the midst of its "Flash Forward" Proton Drive, a listener-driven fundraiser aimed at keeping the eclectic online music outpost alive. Somewhat fittingly, the event has its own theme song in this Vitamin D-drenched tune from upstart duo Pharaohs (Sam Cooper & DUBLAB’s Ale). Not to get all grandiose or anything, but it sounds like the Peter Murphy/Ducktails collabo we had a dream about about a few days ago, all deep baritone vocal trails sunk into pillow-soft keys.
