Brooklyn's Darlings have been making the local rounds for the past couple of years, spilling beer and garage poetry at just about every "club" and DIY spot you've heard already heard mentioned here at Chez RCRD LBL. A few weeks ago, thee L Magazine named the foursome one of New York's "8 Bands To Hear," a heady list that just two years ago included the likes of some goobers by the name of Vampire Weekend (I've never heard of them either.) In any event, Darlings' are set to dole out another heap of grody, Orange Juice-y jams this evening at Bruar Falls in Williamsburg as part of a mind celebration hosted by Louis & James Records. It's a set that will undoubtedly include "If This Is Love," mpfree heat from their forthcoming LP, Yeah I Know. Go. To. That. Party.
