EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Apostle Of Hustle - Soul Unwind

Like most of his fellow Broken Social Scenesters, lead guitarist Andrew Whiteman has his own thing on the side. His Apostle Of Hustle project began in 2001, when looking for a singular venue for Cuban folk aspirations and other off-the-cuff musical fancies. Over the years, between touring and recording stints with B.S.S., the "group" has released two albums and as many EPs of colliding, percussive pop, with a new one, Eats Darkness, set for release May 19th via Arts & Crafts. "Soul Unwind" is third on the album, a brimming, clean guitar sprint where sirenic female lines and Whiteman's through-the-telephone yelp get together on the hook. You can also pogo to it, which is rather sweet.
Apostle Of Hustle head out on a tour of the Northeast next week. Dates and Eats Darkness pre-order at their website.
