After years spent collaborating, moving in the same circles as Daft Punk collaborators Alan Braxe and Fred Falke, and running the Work It Baby label, Kris Menace pushed his way into a solo career that proved equally fruitful. When he's not remixing everyone from Royksopp to LCD Soundsystem and Moby, Menace has been compiling his long awaited debut album, Idiosyncrasies, that's grown into a three disc monster. But here's something short and tasty that boils down his sound in three and half minutes: "Electricity," which features Mr. Falke's coiled bass guitar licks, explodes with colorful and slightly retro melodies that encircle listeners heads like electro satellites.
