DOWNLOAD: Sleepy Sun - New Age
Yesterday afternoon we listened to Sleepy Sun's excellent debut album Embrace all the way through on our hi-fi. We played it really loud, ate some salt and vinegar potato chips, and listened carefully to the woolly mammoth bass and I'm-singing-in-a-huge-freaking-silo vocal reverb. That combination is deadly. Doing nothing but listening to young people wile out in their studio for forty-five whole minutes was also a welcome retreat from the Internet. For those looking to replicate this experience, you can go purchase Embrace next Tuesday through ATP Recordings. It has a killer guitar solo and we don't say that lightly.
