Charlie Cooper's sudden death in 2008 struck a serious blow to heart of Chicago's electronic music scene and, more generally, the welfare of contemporary electronic music. He was one half of the beloved duo Telefon Tel Aviv, whose first two albums have reached near classic status and were followed by Immolate Yourself, released a mere week before Cooper passed away. Fhloston Paradigm has recorded a memorial to Cooper for King Britt's Five Six Media label, a small token of appreciation for a producer who left us far too soon.
