We couldn't resist posting this simple, acoustic recording of LA-based folk crooner Willoughby, an outtake from when Willoughby's main man Gus Seyffert dropped into the Byte.FM studios in Hamburg, Germany and played this version of the new track "Center Of Sleep." Not only does it solidify his ties to other whimsical folk troubadours like Andrew Bird and Ferraby Lionheart, it shows an impeccably soft side to Seyffert ala finger-brushed guitar strokes and near whispered vocals. It works like the best lullabies do - making everything more peaceabe and mellow, causing eyelids to droop and the earth seem to sway.
