French quartet Sourya have been kicking around Parisian rock clubs since 2005, though their profile lifted considerably this year thanks to an endorsement from the hyperbolic Alan McGee in the Guardian, a pending debut album, Dawdle Walk, produced by Jean-Paul Gonnod (Phoenix, Cassius) and the release of their new single, "Anatomy Domine," in February through CTRL ALT DEL Records. Prince Language–Editions Disco boss, DFA contributor, and one of Gotham's finest DJ's–worked up a remix for the single, a dubby, arpeggio-laden disco version that's ready made for outdoor soirée-hopping.
