If you weren't at Bell House with the always fierce Shilpa Ray & her Happy Hookers this Wedsday, you missed the discovery of a new indie gem, Horray For Earth. No worries; we nabbed you a track to prove it. "Video Store" is a bit more woozy and light than their other '90s lo-fi and punk-tinged tracks but nonetheless infectious. Made after lead singer Noel had been awake for 105 hours straight to a point he couldn't see straight, the track sweeps, droops and undulates you into supine daze. Think Joy Division + Guided By Voices + a lot of narcoleptic visions.

i love Hooray For Earth! they are competent and bold musicians who make unique songs that are also consistently excellent AND they deliver killer live performances. these guys know what they're doing.
